I have always loved creating things that were either visually pleasing or that have a purpose and just love combining these two elements. I like to call what I create "functional art." I have enjoyed sewing, knitting, pottery and making jewelry. In 2010, I began taking a metalsmith class which shifted my former jewelry making from wire wrapping and basic skills to a whole new level. I consider myself to be very new to this art and constantly learning more skills and techniques. These days I find myself working with silver, Nu gold, and copper mostly. I enjoy the warmth of these tones and how they play off of each other and various stones.
